We ate superbly in a rustic atmosphere. We had a woodcutter steak, a gratinated feta and the Palatinate Trinity (vintner's plate) and were all super satisfied. We'll come back on occasion

Here, too, you can tell that the hosts in this location do not value the guest as a person due to the flow of tourists. We were at a class reunion and had reserved for 14 people. Upon entering, there was a health incident in which someone fell over. We had a hard time convincing the host that we would get a glass of water and a cold cloth. We were then openly hostile by the host that it cannot be that we reserve and block tables and instead stay in front of the location. We had only taken care of our comrade. We'll leave our money with someone else the next time we meet. Addendum: You can tell from the standard answers what makes you tick here. Criticism is treated as a lie. 14 people do not lie if there is a needy person in the middle of the restaurant. Stick to the truth.

We come to Sachsbachwalden once a year, Eating in the Bachstübele is a highlight. Have just been in town for a week and have been to the beer garden 4 times to eat, the owners are really friendly and the food is great. Salad, tarte flambée schnitzel no matter what it tastes very good. The best is the cordon bleu ✌️

We "discovered" this quaint restaurant on a short trip to Sasbachwalden. We felt "at home" right from the start, warmly welcomed by the exceptionally nice hosts. You will find a varied menu that leaves nothing to be desired and a very personal atmosphere - both in the restaurant and in the small, very cozy beer garden, where you can meet both local guests and relaxed tourists. All dishes are fresh and made according to our own recipes, the portions are huge, delicious and actually impossible to create. In short ... we will be back. Most certainly!

Very excellent cuisine and very friendly, courteous and authentic service! The Palatinate specialties, the cordon bleu and the homemade potato salad are particularly recommended. You have to look for quality and price-performance ratio like this ... We look forward to your next visit!

We wanted to eat something here on Friday evening at 8:15 p.m. with two people plus a small child, but the landlord told us the kitchen was already closed. We are then off again and when we came back about 10 minutes later, outside guests were sitting at their starter. Shameless, the landlord is probably an enemy of children. No attention is paid to corona measures, the landlord didn't even wear a face mask.

we were here for the second time 10 days Tine and Hannes are landlords with whom you can have fun, and we had fun. Good food and Inexpensive but also a lot, we always had good conversations at the regulars' table. Friendly Sasbachers e.g. Albert, Hans u. many others see you again in the middle of August 2020 at the latest with our music or oldie evening. Everything else follows, as you have left to Sasbachwalden Horst (Schimmy) u. Susi PS: I / We have not forgotten anything (music)

We were there for dinner and we were all thrilled. Super friendly and attentive service, salad and food all freshly prepared and super tasty and huge portions. The price-performance ratio is more than coherent. We were served quickly and friendly and everything was served quickly. We cannot understand the bad recession. 5 stars if there were 10 stars we would give 10 stars. We will definitely be happy to come back and are already looking forward to it.

Extremely slow, terrible, not very pleasant. After 1h 40min they asked us again for our lost order. We were two people that get inside the restaurant for Saturday dinner. After some minutes they gave us a table. Around 15 minutes later, we get the menu. We ordered two beverages and two dishes. The beverages came in some minutes but the food wasn't coming. There was only a waitress for the room and the terrace, and a waiter behind the bar pretending to be busy with tree clients, but clearly there was also a main problem in the kitchen as it took very long between every dish they get out. We waited long because we were afraid not to find anywhere to have dinner as it was getting late. After one hour and a half without any explanation or excuse, some other clients that were really upset said that they had been 2 hours there without food. The waitress said that it was coming but the waiter and the cook said that their claim was not true, and rudely argue the clients that it was "only " 1h and 45min. As the waiters don't speak English and we didn't speak German, we only asked and they said that the food was just coming. After some more minutes they asked us again about the food, they had lost the note. We payed the drinks and left the restaurant. Down the street another restaurant, Ald Saschwalle was still opened and they served us in 5 minutes the same food with a much better mood. Never again.
